Better Late than Never I Guess

Okay so life has obviously been crazy crazy busy and I'm back at work already of course.  We have also been in the process of moving.  But I wanted to give a quick update and soon hope to get back to catching up on everyone else's blogs.  Makenzie Rosemarie (after my grandmother) was born February 19th, 2012 weighing 5 pounds 10 ounces 19 inches long.  She was delivered via c-section and was perfectly healthy just teeny tiny.  She had IUGR so there were many doctors in the operating room awaiting her arrival which made me really nervous, but everything went perfectly smoothly and she was perfect.  She is now almost 5 months old and is still teeny tiny, she weighed in at 10 pounds 14 ounces and 23 inches at her 4 month check up (4th and 3rd percentiles) but she is very healthy and strong!  She brings so much happiness to our lives.  Photos below...

  1. I love your story! I also have a bicornuate uterus. I try not to let it worry me since I don't know the extreme of it yet. I just had a miscarriage in May, and am now pregnant again, and everything is looking great so far. Your story was very encouraging to me :) You have a beautiful baby girl!
